RUN
Welcome to Anchorage RunFest! We recap Saturday’s events on our trip this week, including the Expo and the Anchorage Mile. The Anchorage Mile events included a Women’s, Men’s, Military, and Community Mile that went off throughout the morning. We had a great time running the flat course that looped 1.5 times around a great park where an outdoor post-race event was held with tents set up with games for kids, a truck serving coffee, post-race pizza, and a hunting safety tips tent was set up. Then we got the honor and privilege to hear Bart Yasso and World Record Holder for Double Amputees in the Marathon. Marko Cheseto motivate us and provide us with wisdom ahead of the longer races on Sunday. Such great events to start the weekend off right! We will recap our 5K experience on next week’s episode, so stay tuned for more about this incredible weekend. It is our first back-to-live racing and traveling out of the state… can you tell we are excited?
EAT
Simon and Seafort’s was our celebratory meal after all the running was done in Alaska. It was amazing. Pro tip: make a reservation! If you are craving a classic steakhouse experience or a place to get authentic and delicious Alaskan King Crab when it is hard to come by, get to Simon and Seafort’s. Their ribeye is incredible, too!
DRINK
The last time we were in Anchorage, we explored some outstanding breweries. This time, we decided to indulge in amazing beverages from Anchorage Distillery. We had a Ghost Pepper Caesar and a Pickle Rick, but we did not stop there. We also had a Porch Swing and a Barbie Girl. Listen to the episode to discover who ordered what… And if you are ever in Anchorage, check out Anchorage Distillery!
THAT’S A WRAP!
Don’t forget the virtual race that is near and dear to our hearts that we talked about last week. We Love Truckers (Rob Nadeau Memorial) Virtual Race. It is a virtual race of various distances honoring the life of one of our own lost too soon, Rob Nadeau. It supports organizations he wanted to highlight and help, St. Christopher's Trucker Relief Fund and Koch Trucking. These organizations work to support and show appreciation for many Truck Drivers across the United States. We will be running our miles during Truck Driver Appreciation Week (September 12 - September 18), culminating in Rob’s birthday on the 18th, and it’s going on RIGHT NOW!

RUN
This week, we turn our attention to the final 5K in RunDisney summer virtual series celebrating the Lion King. This month’s virtual celebrates the 2019 “Reimagined Classic” film version of the story. We talk about running this final race on Walt Disney World property at Coronado Springs Resort. It was a great experience and a beautiful setting for us to earn this beautiful medal! We even got a character stop, too!
EAT
We have heard amazing things about the breakfast at Kona Cafe at The Polynesian Resort. We were able to snag a reservation this trip to see what the famous Tonga Toast was all about. But we were also able to sample a hidden plant-based gem in the Loco Moco. In addition, we got some great side dishes, too!
DRINK
Kona Cafe has great beverages at breakfast, too! Dana sampled the Freshly Brewed Joffrey's Coffee™ Hawaiian Kona Maragogype Press Pot. Aimee talks about the flavorful Wasabi Bloody Mary. Whether going for an alcoholic or non-alcoholic option, they are satisfying options!

RED Episode 179: The Tampa Beer Run and Sue-Pig BBQ Food Truck
Tuesday Aug 24, 2021
Tuesday Aug 24, 2021
This is an audio replay of our live stream from August 14, 2021, at the Tampa Beer Run! We’re in Alaska this week, but we will be back with regular episodes next week. We hope you enjoy it!

RUN
The Tampa Beer Run is the first-ever run we covered on our show. So when it returned, we had to come back to run. There are four beer stops on the course, which is enclosed inside Al Lopez Park in Tampa. It is always a great time with great people to meet and delicious local beers on the course. The medal? Your pint glass. Your shirt? Always a unique color, this year a light blue. This race never disappoints.
This run has supported many worthwhile causes, and this year is no exception. Tampa Bay Humane Society was the charity, and the volunteers who were at the beer stops were so eager to appreciate runners and talk about their organization with fellow dog lovers on the course.
EAT
The Tampa Beer Run not only had post-run beer for sale through the Beer-Bu-Lance but had a great local food truck with flavorful BBQ we could smell cooking while we were still on the course running! Sue-Pig BBQ LLC was there to satisfy our BBQ craving, and it was everything we wanted and more. Dana had to try the BBQ because Aimee was still on the #75Hard. Aimee got to have the vegan offering from the truck: French Fries. Both were glorious! Check them out on FaceBook and at their website!
DRINK
Tampa Beer Run had beer stops, and Dana sampled all of the beer on the course! They all came from local breweries, including:
The following beers were on the course:
Beer stop #:
#1 - Coppertail: Free Dive - IPA
#2 - Motorworks: V-Twin - Vienna Lager
#3 - Big Storm: Tropic Pressure - Golden Ale
#4 - Flying Boat Brewery: St. Pete Sunset - Juicy IPA & Crescent Lake - Pilsner
Dana’s favorite? The V-Twin Vienna Lager! This race never disappoints as far as expanding our palettes and getting us some favorites, too!

EAT
The Boozy Pig is a place in Tampa we have been trying to get to since the spring. We met up with one of our patrons, John Schroeder, and had brunch there. Steak Frites, a Breakfast Cuban, Charcuterie, and Lemon Ricotta Pancakes… there is something for everyone from sweet to savory! We had leftovers fit for a king, but we had to sample multiple items, and they were all full of mouthwatering goodness you have to try! We can’t wait to get back to this place again. Their staff is so friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is rustic and authentic. The Boozy Pig is a winner if you are visiting the Tampa area.
DRINK
The Boozy Pig has a fantastic Cafe Con Leche. We enjoyed it so much with our brunch items. You can order this or orange juice and bring your own alcohol to put in these items, if you wish! It’s BYOA!
We brought the bourbon that Dana selected to celebrate the end of the #75Hard challenge with, Iron Smoke Casket Strength Straight Bourbon Whiskey to enjoy in our Cafe Con Leche. It was a recommendation from one of his coworkers that did not disappoint!

First, we want to discuss a virtual race that is near and dear to our hearts. We Love Truckers (Rob Nadeau Memorial) Virtual Race. It is a virtual race of a variety of distances honoring the life of one of our own lost too soon, Rob Nadeau. It supports organizations that he wanted to highlight and help, St. Christopher Truckers Relief Fund and Koch Trucking. These organizations work to support and show appreciation for many Truck Drivers across the United States. Some of you are running distances as part of the virtual race to show love and support. Others are choosing just to donate to these organizations. Either way, we are so happy to share this race and hope you will check out these organizations and this race that honors Rob. We will be running our miles during Truck Driver Appreciation Week (September 12 - September 18), which culminates in Rob’s birthday on the 18th.

We also talk about how we are heading into some amazing travel this month and can’t wait! We are returning to a couple of races because we want to see their comeback after Covid and support them. These races are near and dear to our hearts for more than one reason, and we can’t wait to celebrate their triumphant return.
EAT
Yolk White & Associates is a food truck based on the Tampa Riverwalk. Normally, we are on the Tampa Riverwalk on the weekend or a holiday like Christmas, but we had the chance to be there during the week this past spring, so we discovered this food truck, and boy are we happy we did! The breakfast is AMAZING! This is the “little food truck that could” in our book. Cajun Frittata… mouthwatering and spicy goodness. The English sandwich is breakfast perfection with GOAT CHEESE and arugula. If you are in Tampa during a race weekend and happen to get into town early enough to be there on a Friday morning or are looking for a way to put a bow on an amazing weekend with a breakfast that is out of this world, get to Yolk White & Associates.
DRINK
Datz in Tampa has been a favorite in our family for many years. We’ve even talked about it in the days of the show when we were a video podcast on Episode 23 and Quick Bite 31 for both great food and delicious drinks! This time we return for one of Aimee’s favorite flavors and Dana’s favorite bourbon beverage, a Salted Caramel Old Fashioned.
NEXT WEEK: It’s a return to The Tampa Beer Run and some tasty food and beverage from Dana’s hometown!

RUN
We ran a virtual right here at home ahead of the busy travel month of August. This week, we discuss completing Medal Chasers Daywalker Blade 5K celebrating the character Blade from the movies of the same name. The medal was such a great design, as always! We love what Kristina and Bill do at Medal Chasers. We were so excited to do this race to support Shriners Hospital for Children, too.
EAT
This week we highlight a plant-based breakfast option on the Walt Disney World property. We had the opportunity to go to Ale & Compass at the Yacht Club Resort. The theming in the restaurant and the resort is nautical and so relaxing. This plant-based option was a huge breakfast entree and very flavorful. We breakdown each part of the dish that we both had and thoroughly enjoyed while staying on our 75 Hard program.
DRINK
Flashing back to Ale & Compass inspired us to create recipes for breakfast and brunch mocktails. We found a website, www.mixthatdrink.com, and took inspiration from a recipe for the Bella Bellini there but tweaked the recipe to suit our palates. From there, we were inspired to create faux-mosas, too. Now we just need to recreate the amazing meal from Ale & Compass to go with them all!
Here are our recipes below. If you try them, let us know how you like the combinations!
Peach Bellini
2 oz peach purée
1 oz mineral water
3 oz sparkling grape juice
Mimosa using OJ
1/2 OJ
1/2 sparkling grape juice
Mimosa using Grapefruit Juice
3 oz grapefruit juice
1 oz mineral water
2 oz sparkling grape juice
NEXT WEEK: Training updates, maybe another 5K from Medal Chasers (Ghost Rider) ahead of the Tampa Beer Run and the end of our 75 Hard Challenge, plus more Vegan goodies from Orlando this summer.
THAT’S A WRAP!

This week we flashback to Dana’s Freedom 5K. This was a great local race celebrating the 4th of July weekend. He talks about his strategy for this race and how he changed up the run-walk-run for it. Then we share training updates and what’s next in his live training runs with all of you. Is it a 10K program or a faster 5K program? Either way, we hope you will join him on the live runs starting again next month!
EAT
Skipper Canteen in the Magic Kingdom has great vegan options we explored when we traveled to Disney last month. We had a great appetizer and two entrees that were completely plant-based dishes and delicious! If you get a chance to visit this gem in the Magic Kingdom, do it. The food is tasty, the cast members are so in-character, and the atmosphere makes you want to go on the Jungle Cruise right after your meal!
DRINK
Skipper Canteen has non-alcoholic and fun beverage options to explore! We had the Punch Line Punch. It was quite tasty. There is also a Schweitzer Slush that looks fun, but we weren’t sure it was all plant-based, so we stuck with the tasty punch! When we can have cocktails again, we look forward to having the Jungle Navigation Co. Shandy or the House-made Sangria! Skipper Canteen has great beverages to try while enjoying the Magic Kingdom in Orlando.
NEXT WEEK: We recap our next virtual in the Anti-Hero series from Medal Chasers and a great spot for plant-based breakfast options at Walt Disney World.

We took a virtual up to Orlando with us and decided to explore new areas of the Disney property that we had not seen before. This week, we discuss completing Medal Chasers Guardians on the Run 5K celebrating the character Yondu from Guardians of the Galaxy. He is one of our favorite characters, which is one of our favorite Marvel movies, too! We were so excited to do this race to support Shriners Hospital for Children. Perfect timing for this race series to get kicked off because we met up with Bill and Kristina from Medal Chasers.
EAT
While in Orlando, we met up with Pam and Ariel from Pure Creative Apparel. They introduced us to an amazing place focused on tasty comfort food that is all vegan! It’s Ethos Vegan Kitchen located in Winter Park, Florida. It is just outside Orlando, where Aimee lived when she went to the University of Central Florida in her college days! They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner seven days a week. We had amazingly tasty breakfast options. We break down their breakfast burrito, their pancakes, and even a bonus that is not breakfast - the garlic knots! We can’t wait to go back and have other tasty dishes!
DRINK
For the beverage portion of our show, we return home and visit The Apothecary located inside Millennial Brewing in Fort Myers. Why? Because on the 75 Hard Challenge, we are, of course, not having alcohol. This means we need to get creative with our beverages to be a bit indulgent but still be good to ourselves while we refrain from alcohol. We had their hard root beer in a cocktail special, a Hard Root Beer Float. These cocktails have 0-Proof Whiskey in them, and we confirmed with the staff that they are 100% vegan; even the “garnish” of coconut ice cream was too!
NEXT WEEK: We recap our next virtual in the Anti-Hero series from Medal Chasers and a great spot for plant-based options in the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World.

RUN
This week, we turn our attention to the RunDisney summer virtual series celebrating the Lion King. This month’s virtual celebrates the Broadway version of the story. We talk about meeting up with our patron, Jenn, running this second 5K not only to complete the second 5K in the RunDisney series but to celebrate our coach, Jeff Galloway, and his birthday! It was beautiful scenery, great company, and a terrific feeling to accomplish the goal.
EAT
We bring you plant-based offerings from Sanaa at Animal Kingdom Lodge. We took a tour of their appetizer menu, and it is was rich with flavorful offerings that kept us on our plan. Yes, a salad might have been a favorite, but you have to hear the discussion about it! Sanaa has a plant-based entree that we did not get to but want to try on a return visit, but we had an amazing dessert. Bottom line: You could have a complete three-course meal that is plant-based here and walk away so satisfied!
DRINK
Sanaa also had a drink option for us to celebrate National Mojito Day and stay on our plan, too! They have an entire “mocktail” menu, but we had to go with the Sparkling No-jito in honor of the day! It was tart with a hint of mint and a slight sweetness. It is a perfect alternative for a designated driver or those who do not want to drink but still want to feel like they are on vacation or celebrating a special occasion!
NEXT WEEK: We recap our first virtual in the Anti-Hero series from Medal Chasers and a great spot for plant-based options at the Magic Kingdom!

RUN
Richard’s Father’s Day Family Walk / Jog was along the Tampa Riverwalk on Father’s Day in June. Many of you came along as it was the culmination of Dana’s Couch to 5K program. This race benefits the Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa and according to www.richardsrunforlife.org, “The money is earmarked for Moffitt. According to the American Cancer Society, one man out of six will be diagnosed with prostate cancer, and one of 35 will die every year. Prostate cancer is the second-leading cause of cancer deaths in American men, second only to lung cancer.”. The money raised this year is totaled at $110,000. We can’t thank Michael Kilgore from the Columbia Restaurant Group for helping us register and participate in this fantastic event. While the weather was humid, the course was beautiful, people were so friendly, and the post-race celebration outside Ulele was great. There is another race hosted by this fabulous restaurant group called Richard’s Run. It is a nighttime race returning in the first week of November 2021. Go for the awesome food from this restaurant group, too!
EAT
We bring you vegan offerings from Taco Dirty. Dana had nachos and Aimee had a bowl. There are so many eclectic and tasty choices! We break them down on the episode from protein options, bases, sauces, and more!
DRINK
Taco Dirty also has a variety of unique non-alcoholic beverages. Peach Bellini Tea unsweetened and one we’ve never heard of before, Pineapple Celery Mint beverage. Aimee liked the combination of the Pineapple and Celery surprisingly! It was not too sweet and it had just a hint of celery seed.
NEXT WEEK: We recap our first virtual in the Anti-Hero series from Medal Chasers and a great brunch spot at Walt Disney World!
Special thank you to all of you who celebrated #runcationnationday and for all the special gifts you sent to us. Our hearts are so full and we have no idea how to express our sincere gratitude for all you do to inspire and support us and our little podcast. Here’s to meeting up with you all very soon!

RUN
Next week, we will recap Richard’s Run For Life and our Tampa adventures. This week, we turn our attention to the RunDisney summer virtual series celebrating the Lion King. We talk about meeting up with our patron, Meg, to run this first 5K and wrap up Dana’s Couch to 5K series. It was beautiful scenery, great company, and a terrific feeling to accomplish the goal.
EAT
We bring you vegan offerings from Epcot’s Taste of the Flower and Garden Festival 2021. We did the Garden Graze, which featured five vegan options at the festival. We break down these options as we give our “hot takes” that we recorded at the park, and then we finish with the special flavor of Dole Whip in a souvenir cup that we earned for getting all five dishes! There are some really great options that have amazing flavor, even if you are not eating vegan. We break them down, and even though the festival is ending in about a week, we know that some of these are returning favorites that will be back in 2022!
DRINK
We enjoy coffee provided by a patron in this episode! We have been long-time fans of Black Rifle, and on this episode, we feature a medium roast from them called Galactic Gunner. It is smooth and focuses on the great flavor of the coffee itself. It is unique because it is honey-processed Catimor coffee. Josh, thank you so much for delivering the gift of a coffee company we love and teaching us about another type of coffee we did not know about before!
NEXT WEEK: We recap Richard’s Run For Life that took place on Father’s Day. We will also discuss a great vegan option we found in Tampa after the race!

It’s the long-awaited preview of our race calendar for the second half of 2021. These races are only a starting point, but they include:
Great Smoky Mountains Half Marathon and 5K
Flanigan’s Rockin’ Rib Run 10K
Jeff Galloway Half Marathon Weekend
And of course, we couldn’t help but go just a bit into 2022 because this race is a must-do, we want it to be a “Runcation Nation” meetup, and they have announced that it will be an in-person event… The Donna Marathon Weekend 2022!
We also talk about some of our favorite moments from our show’s history on the racecourse. Dana and Aimee share favorite and funny moments from the show.
EAT
We run so that we can explore great food, of course. So what have been the best meals we’ve had on the show? Aimee and Dana choose their favorites from the 4-year run of the show!
DRINK
And… last, but certainly not least, we run to indulge in great beverages. Which ones do we crave and want to have again and again? Which ones do we long to get back to as soon as possible? We chat about that, too!
Thanks to everyone who called in and sent messages wishing us a Happy Anniversary! It did our hearts so much good! We love you all and can’t wait for an awesome 5th year with you all!

RUN
75 Hard Challenge is still going strong! We report on our challenge and how it has impacted our running and training. We are resuming our Couch to 5K program this week, and guess what? It is race day this week. We give you updates on our training and how we will run that 5K we’ve been training for over these past 6 weeks! Plus, what’s next? Faster 5K? 10K?
EAT
75 Hard Challenge requires us to choose a diet and stick to it. No cheat meals. We talked about that in our previous episode. We have chosen, of course, whole-food plant-based. We are featuring a local favorite this week that allows us to have a nice “lunch date” or stay on track when out and about. UhmazeBowls is right here in Cape Coral. Their website says it best, “UhmazeBowls proudly serves Acai Bowls, Poke Bowls, Superfood Smoothies, Pitaya Bowls, Green Bowls, Toasts, Snacks, Coffee, & Kombucha to the wonderful people of Fort Myers, Cape Coral, & Naples, FL. This week, we talk about the Avocado Alfalfa Toast that we both had. Very tasty! Plus, we talk about a bowl we both had called the Garden of Eden. We had this meal before our challenge so that they may have been more Vegetarian than Vegan, but this week, we returned to UhmazeBowls and asked specifically for Vegan meals, and they were happy to oblige! So happy to have tasty and easy options. Have some with us sometime if you are in town!
DRINK
This challenge also requires us to drink a gallon of water a day. And… no alcohol! So, we will be featuring healthy beverages during the challenge. UhmazeBowls has them, too! We had the PB Crunch and Basic Bee back before 75 Hard began. So tasty. This week, when we returned, we were so glad to hear that we could have the PB&YAY on our Vegan plan. There is so much on their menu, no matter your nutritional preferences, fresh and made with expertise and passion. We are so happy to know that this is a local place with three locations around our area, so no matter where we are in Southwest Florida, we can get a fresh and healthy meal that tastes uhmazing!
NEXT WEEK: JOIN US FOR OUR ANNIVERSARY EPISODE! We are celebrating, and it might be delayed, but it will be awesome!

RUN
75 Hard Challenge is a challenge we discuss in this episode. We started it on June 1st. We talk about it as a challenge that builds mental toughness, and it will impact what we do as far as running, eating, and drinking for the next 75 days. Running will be a part of the challenge for us as it requires two workouts each day of 45 minutes. These workouts cannot be consecutive, and one must be outdoors, so our Couch to 5K and weekly running will be a perfect way to get workouts in during the challenge.
EAT
75 Hard Challenge also requires us to choose a diet and stick to it. No cheat meals. We have chosen, of course, whole-food plant-based. We will be featuring favorite recipes and featuring those kinds of meals when we travel, too.
DRINK
This challenge also requires us to drink a gallon of water a day. And… no alcohol! So, we will be featuring healthy beverages during the challenge.
There are other components of this challenge we talk about during the show as well. Here’s a link to the podcast episode that outlines the challenge:

RUN
This week we talk training updates now that we are at the halfway point in the 5K Program that Dana is running. We talk about the ratios we selected, how the weather has and will impact us (ring that bell!), and how we plan to celebrate the culmination of that program.
EAT
Kojak’s House of Ribs is a piece of Tampa history. This week, when we heard that it would be closing its doors after 43 years, we had to reclaim it. We talk about the first time we went there after the Gasparilla Half Marathon in Episode 22 of our show, the nostalgia, the place, and the food as Tampa says goodbye to a staple that will be gone but not forgotten. Pro tip: Get the Ribs! I mean, it’s what’s in the name, right?
DRINK
Ulele Spring Brewery is attached to the Ulele Restaurant we have had on the show in the past. This week, we stopped by, and we had to get one of our favorites that had been barrel-aged! The Wedding Beer has been highlighted in the past when we chatted with Brewmaster Tim Shackton. That was back on Episode 32. This time around, we have the classic and the Barely Tanked, which is a Bowman Barrel-Aged version of the Wedding Beer at Ulele, and talk about the subtle differences the aging process brings to the beer. What a great stop along the Tampa Riverwalk!
THAT’S A WRAP! - Here’s hoping you are off to a great year in 2021!

RUN
The 1-Mile Downtown Dash was a live nighttime race in Fort Myers. This race benefits the local YMCA. There was physical distancing at the start, a warm-up with local fitness instructors, and a scenic 1-mile route that passes some popular local restaurants and historic landmarks. It was a beautiful and fun race. While there was not a medal, there were cheering crowds of people dining outdoors and beautiful scenery by the water against the backdrop of a great Friday night Florida sunset.
EAT
Wandering Roots is a Vegan Food Stand that has been popping up at local breweries and farmers’ markets. We decided to check them out when they posted about a Philly made completely Vegan with local mushrooms from Stropharia Mushroom Farm. They also had a tasty Vegan gyro. Their offerings are flavorful and robust. We definitely want to check out more of their menu!
DRINK
Ankrolab Brewing Company is a place in Naples that we have been meaning to check out for quite some time. We finally made it down. Their indoor and outdoor seating is plentiful and comfortable. The bartenders are friendly and knowledgeable. They have a taco place right next door and food trucks on-site most nights. We each had a flight to check out the variety on their menu at Ankrolab Brewing Company. There were several styles full of flavor. We took a growler of one of our favorites home. Can’t wait to get back and have more of their menu.

We were tagged in a group on Facebook. The Bouncy Hunters raise funds for The Donna Foundation. The Mother’s Day Your Way is a virtual event requiring only 30 minutes of some kind of physical activity. The bling and the cause motivated us. We break down our run, the cause, and the bling.
EAT
Jungle Bird Tiki is here in Cape Coral. We explore two different dishes from the small plates menu. Think of this as a Tiki Surf and Turf, Part 2. These two dishes were amazing. We had the Jungle Mussels and Seared Steak Tacos. All we can say is these dishes are mouthwatering and full of layers of flavor. Get them!!
DRINK
Jungle Bird Tiki is here in Cape Coral. We explore three tiki cocktails in this round. One is a classic, the Mai Tai. We discuss how it measures up to the original we have had at Trader Vic’s in the past. We also break down the Fighter Pilot and Rafiki Tiki. Jungle Bird Tiki is a great local place where there are tasty cocktails!

EAT
It’s Cinco De Mayo and we hit one of our favorite local restaurants for some incredible Mexican food. Mexico Lindo is here in Cape Coral. We had table-side guacamole, a Ribeye Ala Mexicana, and Beef Tamales. They were delicious! This little place has great service and tasty entrees to celebrate this festive holiday. Do you have a favorite place to go celebrate Cinco De Mayo? Let us know!
DRINK
Mexico Lindo has an extensive cocktail menu and beer list. We got a super-sized beer from their menu. We had Negra Modelo. It is widely available and a malty and refreshing beer. Served with a wedge of lime, and had no hoppy or bitter finish. It came in two different sizes. You know what they say.. go big or go home!

Submit photos, videos, and written stories via info@runeatdrink.net or call and leave a message at (941) 677-2733.
Then you can visit and share www.runeatdrink.net/jeff so that others may see the incredible impact he’s had on the running and run-walk-run community.
Jeff, here’s to your speedy recovery! We will run-walk-run with you again soon! Take your time, take your walk breaks, and finish your recovery strong. We will be there, at the finish, when you are ready.

EAT
To celebrate the honor and privilege it is to interview running royalty, we went to a tasty local Tiki spot. Jungle Bird Tiki is here in Cape Coral. We explore two different dishes from the small plates menu. Think of this as a Tiki Surf and Turf. These two dishes were amazing. Crab Wonton Dip and Beef Carpaccio have a Tiki flare here and so many layers of flavor. You want these dishes. You want to have more of this menu. You want to experience the environment in this restaurant, too.
DRINK
Jungle Bird Tiki also had creative and tasty takes on Tiki cocktails… How could we say no?
These libations pack a punch that can sneak up on you. Jungle Bird Tiki has classic Tiki cocktails but also House Tiki beverages. We started with specialities of the house. The Mississippi Hog and the Banana Hammock transport you to a tropical and relaxing state of mind at this place. If you come visit us, you should check out Jungle Bird Tiki.
